WHY TRUST KOSHER LONGEVITY

Built on a standard most longevity sites never reach.

Every tool, rating, and recommendation on this site follows the same four content rules — applied before anything is published — plus a fifth kosher-integrity rule unique to Kosher Longevity.

① Human Evidence First

We separate human clinical trials from animal studies, cell research, and mechanistic theory. A mouse study is not a human trial. We say so.

② Dose & Form Matter

We compare products against the actual form and dose used in published research — not fairy-dust amounts added for label appeal.

③ Safety Before Stacking

Medication-nutrient considerations, supplement timing conflicts, and absorption interactions are flagged — before you build or buy anything.

④ Plain-Language Research

Every summary links to the source paper. We translate what the study shows — and what it does not prove. No extrapolation. No hype.

⑤ Hechsher Integrity — Kosher Longevity's Fifth Rule

Every product is checked against a reliable kosher certification (OU, OK, Star-K, CRC, KOF-K, or equivalent Badatz hechsherim recognized by Chabad and major kashrut authorities). Capsule shells, gelatin source, fish/dairy/meat status, and pareve labeling are verified. If a product has no reliable hechsher, it is marked clearly and never moves up the tier ladder on the strength of its evidence alone. Halacha and evidence are both gates — neither overrides the other.

The Kosher Longevity Philosophy

Don't guess. Test. Then verify the hechsher.

Step 1

Test

Establish a baseline before you buy a single capsule. Biological age, lipid panel, fasting insulin, hsCRP, ApoB, homocysteine, omega-3 index, vitamin D.

Step 2

Intervene — Kosher-Verified

Apply only protocols backed by human RCTs and available with a reliable hechsher. No pareve doubt. No animal-only data.

Step 3

Retest

Close the loop in 3–6 months. Did the marker move? If not, the protocol failed for you — regardless of how famous the supplement is.

Affiliate, Editorial & Halachic Disclosure

How we stay independent — and halacha-aware.

Affiliate disclosure. This site is funded by commission relationships with brands whose products already passed our evidence review and our hechsher review. Those relationships are disclosed on every product page. Commissions never influence ratings — evidence and kosher integrity gates come first, commercial relationships follow.

  • ✓ Rankings set by evidence, not by commission size. A product with a higher affiliate payout does not move up the tier ladder.
  • ✓ Hechsher is a gate, not a tiebreaker. A product without a reliable kosher certification is marked clearly and not recommended for kosher consumers, regardless of evidence strength.
  • ✓ Every commission relationship is disclosed on the product page. No fine print. No buried asterisks.
  • ✓ If we wouldn't recommend it on evidence and kashrut alone, we don't link to it — regardless of commission potential.

Educational disclosure. Content on this site is educational only. It is not medical advice and not rabbinic advice (psak halacha). Use it as a discussion guide with your prescribing physician and with your local Orthodox rabbi.

Halachic disclosure. Kosher status is reported based on publicly available certification at the time of writing. Hechsherim can change. Always verify the symbol on the actual package against the agency's current schedule. For Chabad consumers and others following stringent standards, Chabad.org's Kosher Symbols guide is a useful starting reference; questions of Chalav Yisrael, Yashan, kitniyot, choleh status on Shabbat, and Pesach use should be directed to your rav.
